Patches

Thank you very much for purchasing one of my iron-on patches. :)
Enclosed you will find the instructions for attaching it to an item of clothing.

Important note: Please iron the patch only onto cotton fabrics.
Before ironing, it's best to check the garment's care label to determine the material.

1. Use the cotton setting on your iron. Never use the steam function. Preheat the iron sufficiently.

2. Lay the fabric onto which the patch is to be ironed as flat as possible on a level surface.

3. Briefly iron the area where the patch will be applied. Now, position the patch as smoothly and straight as possible on the garment to prevent creases later. Cover it with a piece of baking paper to protect the patch. Iron it from the inside out with a hot iron, applying moderate pressure. The ironing time should be approximately 30 seconds at medium pressure. Wait at least 2 minutes before removing the baking paper.

4. Now turn the garment inside out and iron it briefly again from the inside. Allow the garment to cool.

To ensure your patch lasts a long time, please observe the following instructions when washing garments with attached patches:
– Do not dry clean.
– Do not tumble dry.
– Do not use chlorine bleach.
– Wash in cold water only.
– Wait 24 hours after attaching the label before washing the garment.
